Have you ever noticed that when you are at your least stressed, you are usually socializing with your friends? Well, I noticed that too and honestly, I think that is one of the secrets! I think that the more you surround yourself with positive people, the better off you are going to be and that is why socializing is by far one of the best options whenever you are feeling really stressed out.
You should always make sure that you have a friend that you can count on and trust to pull you out of the depths and will truly make you feel better. If you find that you have friends that are very negative, you might want to consider just how good of friends they really are.
Being positive is something that you can catch and if everyone around you is positive, I can promise you will feel a heck of a lot less stressed!

Whenever you think about being stressed out, it can all be tracked back to one thing; lack of sleep. To be completely honest, most people in the world suffer from some type of insomnia and to me – it is a huge deal. I know that if I do not get at least six hours of sleep, I am not going to be in the greatest mood. I also know that I get more stressed out.
Did you know that there are many different natural treatments that you can use for insomnia? For example, aromatherapy is something that has been used for centuries to treat insomnia and you can use it too!
Combinations such as sandalwood, ylang-ylang, neroli, chamomile and margoram are fantastic to use whenever you are having trouble sleeping. Think about that the next time you are up too late and only get three hours of sleep!

The weather is slowly but surely changing and do you know what that means? Well – it means that a cold is right around the corner and catching a cold and getting sick is something that is so stressful that honestly … I do everything I can to prevent it. The one thing that I hate about colds or trying to prevent them is that you have to take so many drugs – well, not anymore. We are going to teach you some natural ways to boost up your immune system so you won’t have to worry about getting sick!
The first thing is taking Echinacea. This is often used in combination with golden seal. Golden seal can actually lower your blood sugar levels as well, so it should not be used if you have hypoglycemia. Garlic is another popular choice when you are trying to ward off a cold, but it also is a natural antibiotic that can fight fungi.
Finally, elderberry is something that can prevent viruses from being able to reproduce in your body and it will certainly strength up your immune system. These are just a few ways!

While most people do not associate music with any sort of therapy, it really is. Think about it – whenever you are stressed out, what is the first thing that you usually do? For me? I turn my music onto a song I know is going to cheer me up or at least match what mood I am in. Music therapy, while it might seem strange is a great way to relieve some of the stress that you might be feeling due to your job, home or even just life in general.
Music therapy can actually promote wellness, eases pain and actually helps with the expression of feelings, enhances a lot of memories and finally can truly improve your communication skills – which is something that a lot of people need right now.
Whenever you are feeling stressed out, just run yourself a bath, slip your iPod on and let the music just take you away to a place that is not stressful at all!

We have all heard it before. You are telling a friend, a family member, or a colleague that you are feeling stressed out, and they recommend exercise in an oh so chipper tone of voice. You groan inside and endeavor to change the subject, because just thinking about exercising and how you always mean to but never have time just makes you feel even more stressed.
But like it or not, it is true that exercise is a great stress reliever. Fortunately, there are lots of things you can do which will not even seem like exercise. These activities are just fun.
Yeah, okay, you can do yoga, but if you are pretty doubtful about your abilities to touch your toes to your nose, don’t worry. Swimming is great for relieving stress, and in the sweltering month of August, it is the perfect activity.
Karate can help you in a lot of ways. Guys enjoy it, women can learn some self defense moves, and no matter what, you will develop a strong sense of self discipline.
Last but most certainly not least, just take a walk!

When you are having a bad hair day or you are dealing with something like dandruff – I know that it stresses me out. Well, no longer! There are tons of different ways to eliminate dandruff and calm yourself down.
One of the greatest ways to get rid of dandruff is by using shampoos that contain tea tree oil. This particular oils is one that adds in a lot of oil to your hair without weighing it down or making it greasy – it just overall improves your scalp, which is what causes your skin to flake off – a dry scalp.
Another thing that can help your scalp and your dandruff problem is focusing on making sure that you are getting enough zinc and B vitamins – that way you can make sure that you are moisturized and your scalp is in good shape!

In this blog, we have covered a lot of different things that you can do in order to relieve your stress but one thing that I do not think that we have touched base on it acupuncture. There is probably a reason for that … I hate needles. Acupuncture is not something that I think I could ever bring myself to do if only because of my fear of needles, however, I have watched it get done in someone that is always stressed out and as soon as she had it done, her stress melted away and all of her pain was gone.
Acupuncture is something that is not only fantastic for your stress levels, but it is a great way to get rid of the pain that seems to go along with stress. Your back, shoulders and neck pain can all be relieved with acupuncture and that is something that is very comforting to know about.
Acupuncture has been practiced by the Chinese for years and years and if you go to a licensed acupuncture therapist, you should feel absolutely no pain when the needle goes in – just relief and I think I may have to give acupuncture a try. I’ll let you know what I come up with!

Speaking from experience, migraine headaches are just the worst. They can leave you debilitated for hours, sensitive to light, sick to your stomach, struck down with the kind of sick, throbbing pain that feels rather like a toothache right in the center of your head. I myself have had bad experiences with prescription medications, so I am more than happy to keep you stressless in Las Vegas by bringing you the first natural treatment for migraine headaches: Riboflavin.
Riboflavin is also known as the vitamin B2. Some studies have shown that Riboflavin can be beneficial in dealing with migraine headaches. The journal Neurology published one such study. The subjects received four hundred milligrams of Riboflavin each day — a high dose — and they found that their migraines underwent a reduction in terms of severity and frequency. There were no serious side effects seen.
It is best if you use the Riboflavin for at least three months.
